As the weather continues to improve, so does the golf course.  Grass is green, the wind is dying down and it feels like summer.  We are very excited about our new computer operating system at the course.  Online tee times is just one of the many features and to take advantage of that option simply set up your customer profile by clicking on the "BOOK A TEE TIME" tab.  You will be required to use a credit card but it will never be charged, nor will it be seen as it is safely encrypted.  I also encourage you to sign up for the Birthday Club- even winter birthdays receive a special gift from Deer Valley for you to use this season.

As we approach our 10^th golf season at Deer Valley, the changes have been many.  The Deer Valley Lodge has been open for nearly 2 years now and has become a popular place for winter getaways, summer stays, weddings, parties and wet-n-wild fun!  The increase in stays has also increased demand for the golf course.   As Deer Valley Lodge continues to grow so has the golf course, and we are very excited to have an additional 9 holes to play this fall. 

The “Valley 9” will continue in the Deer Valley tradition with breathtaking views, challenging golf and imaginative holes- but will certainly have a personality all its own.  It will be a par 35 with 2 par 5’s, 3 par 3’s and 4 par 4’s.  You may have seen some of the holes under construction but we are very excited for you to see the rest- namely the holes running down one of the most beautiful valleys in southwest Wisconsin.  You can expect a “target golf” feel with large tees, gently undulating greens and more level landing areas with green surface views.  The Valley 9 will certainly be used for leagues, outings and casual play as well.  We are also taking advantage of the opportunity to continue to improve our original 18 with more trees, bunker reshaping, improved drainage, and new mounding.
