2024 Golf Season

Deer Valley is taking applications from reliable, self motivated and friendly people to work in a fun, fast paced, customer service orientated setting.  Special consideration and preference given to applicants available for part time or weekend work starting in mid-April before school is out.  By the time school is out, our staff is often full.  ALL positions include days, evenings and weekends.

Maintenence Crew

  • Course mowing
  • Light landscaping

Golf Shop Staff- 

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide a high level of service to our guests
  • Check-In, start golfers and monitor pace of play
  • Merchandise sales and inventory control
  • Bartending
  • Shifts vary and includes evenings and weekends
  • Some staff supervision
  • Outing and League preparation
  • League & event tabulation and scoring
  • Maintain a professional appearance and pleasant personality with customers and co-workers
  • Must be 18 years or older by state law and be able to obtain a Servers License
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Golf experience a big plus but will train the right individual

Bartenders/ Inside Services-

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Mix & serve drinks and prepare/serve food
  • Maintain a neat and clean bar & lobby area
  • Maintain a professional appearance and pleasant personality with customers and co-workers
  • Outing and League preparation
  • Provide a high level of service to our guests
  • Make golf reservations by phone and in person
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs (for restocking purposes)
  • Must be 18 years or older by state law

Beverage Cart Operator-Fully Staffed

Deer Valley does not hire “Beverage Cart Only” staff.  Our Beverage Cart Drivers are picked from current Bartender Staff and Beverage Cart Drivers will often work shifts as a Bartender

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Load, unload beverage cart based on an inventory count system
  • Restock walk-in cooler, liquor room and bar coolers upon completion of shift
  • Provide a high level of service to our guests
  • Monitor course pace of play and course guideline compliance by players
  • Mix and serve beverages on the golf course following all applicable state laws concerning alcoholic beverages
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs (for loading and restocking)
  • Must have accurate calculation and cash handling skills (for cart inventory and sales)
  • Maintain a professional appearance and pleasant personality with customers and co-workers
  • Maintain a neat and clean cart and leave an organized beer & liquor room after the shift
  • Must be 18 years or older by state law and be able to obtain a Servers License

Cart Attendant/ Outside Services

  • Provide a high level of service to our guests
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
  • Maintain a professional appearance and pleasant personality with customers and co-workers
  • Wash & park golf carts
  • Keep grounds and clubhouse public areas clean
  • Pick and wash range balls
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Light mowing and trimming
  • Must be at least 16 years old (Federal Law for driving carts)
  • Advancement opportunities for the right candidates after turning 18
